On January
10, 2012 Federal Judge Shnyder has released her final ruling in CMTA v Douglas case
granting preliminary
injunction to stop DHCS from implementing AB 97 10% Medi-Cal
rate cut to Non-emergency medical transportation providers. By the same order she
also has vacated (suspended) CMS approval of the State SPA which authorized AB97 cuts to NEMT providers. This is a huge win for CMTA and NEMT industry. This is another
example of what could be accomplished if we all be united and work together.
